The "In Between".
We have healed and released and are no longer in the old cycle or phase. But we aren’t yet in the new cycle either. We are in what I call the “in between”.
In the past I’ve struggled with these awkward transitions. They felt uncomfortable and still do. Healing had occurred and I felt good and ready to move forward. But the new cycle wasn’t ready for me yet. Or maybe I wasn’t ready for it.
I used to try to push my way forward into the new energies. Excited and feeling ready for the blessing of the new cycle. But pushing forward never worked and I would end up feeling frustrated.
The messages I received were always to trust the process. And I did, but I struggled to relax into the softer energies of the in between transitional phase. I struggled to get comfortable with the unknown.
I have since found a new perspective on these awkward in between phases. They are transitions. They are a break and a rest between the efforts of healing from the old cycle and the blessings and growth of the new cycle.
They offer a period of solace and rest. A time to complete the releasing and healing. A time for recovery from the heavy dense energies of the old. The “in between” is an opportunity for sacred rest. It is also a time to prepare for the new cycle.
It’s Part of the Path.
These transitions, the “in between” spaces, are part of the path. They are the time we need to integrate our healing and recharge our energy. A time to prepare for new life cycles and phases.
It is also a time of mourning the loss of the old version of us. And a reconstruction of the new version of us. It is the period in between the two energies.
The void, calm, and quiet allow us to shift from integration into preparation for the next part of our spiritual awakening. It is time for rest, recovery, and reset.
Once rested and recovered, we begin preparing for the new cycle. It can include messages, new energy, and guidance to begin moving us forward. Our experiences are unique, and our preparation will be as well, but we all are being prepared.
In the quiet of being in between phases and cycles, we can hear our guidance. We can sit in a more healed space and receive. Whatever comes will be serving what is coming next for us.
As this transitional “in between” phase moves forward, we begin to feel lighter. Our energy has healed from the old cycle and the new frequency comes forward. In short, we lighten up and prepare to receive new blessings.
Moving from the shadow of healing into the light of the new frequency is the point of the transition. We need that time and space to recover from the deep healing and integrate the new lighter energy.
Moving Through It.
My experience with these “in between” phases has allowed me to share how I moved through them. Each one was a different challenge, but it all served the purpose of moving forward.
Surrender. If the stillness becomes a challenge, reframe it as an opportunity to learn to surrender. We don’t need to create a story or attachment to what is coming. But we do need to let go and let it come in for us.
Sacred space. The “in between” is sacred space. Use it for releasing the past cycle. Use it for calling in the new cycles and experiences. Listening to our intuitive guidance helps us remain aligned with our path. Our soul knows the way.
Sacred rest. Honoring sacred rest includes avoiding overthinking or creating stories about the past and the future. The point of transitions is sacred rest. Limiting our need for answers and allowing the energy to move through us is helpful.
Spiritual practices. The “in between” is prime time for our spiritual practices and traditions. Our practices that keep us calm and centered will be the most helpful to us during these in between phases. Meditation, getting out in nature, enjoying the peace and quiet of our own energy, doing what helps keep you at peace will serve us well.
Spiritual flu. As the old cycles end, and we release the heavy dense energies, we can experience physical symptoms. They are called spiritual flu or ascension symptoms. (I wrote about it long ago. It is one of my most popular posts.) They can feel like the flu. The in between is designed to help us heal and recover.
Go with the flow. The in between spaces are transitional. We are changing and evolving. Leaving our pasts behind and preparing for the next chapter of our lives. Residues of the past cycle may come up as may hints of the new cycle. Move through whatever comes up. Go with the flow and honor the emotions as they come to the surface.
Trust the process. The “in between” can be uncomfortable. Transitions often are. But when we know their purpose, we can ease our way through them and allow them to serve our best and highest good.
My "In Between" Week.
This week I have moved through the “in between”. I have released the old, heavy energies of the old era of my life, the old karmic cycle. I experienced all the emotions and the awkward emptiness of the void. And then I woke up today feeling ready to welcome the new karmic cycle.
Messages of what is to come in this new era of my life have put a smile on my face. I am ready to welcome it into my body, mind, heart, and soul. I am ready for new love, wisdom, and abundance. I am grateful to be ready to move forward.
Gratitude.
