Waiting is the Hardest Part.
Sometimes we know that life is going to change for us. It’s that whole idea of change being the only constant in our lives. But there are also times when change is coming but not yet here. We know we’ve done all the things to manifest change, all but the waiting.
Rather than stress or worry when breakthroughs will come, we can maximize the wait. We can allow the waiting game to work for us and be ready for life to change and expand. We can use it to our advantage.
We can make the best of the waiting game in so many ways. By prioritizing and protecting our peace. By leaning into our spiritual practices. By releasing what isn’t working for us. By going with the flow of life.
Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers released a song in 1981 called “The Waiting is the Hardest Part”. It can be, but it doesn’t have to be. We can use our time waiting to prepare and align ourselves with the incoming breakthroughs. We can thrive while we wait.
Prioritizing our Peace.
The mindset of waiting can inspire anxiety and pressure. Instead of succumbing to the low vibrations, we can increase our vibrations by prioritizing our peace by whatever means resonates with us. It also means releasing what isn’t part of our peace, but more on that later.
Prioritizing our peace means doing what is necessary to connect with our inner peace. It can begin with setting the intention to prioritize our peace over and over again. It may also require doing some inner work to ensure that inner peace is available to us.
To prioritize our peace we can notice when we feel at peace. Checking in with ourselves and our body can help us understand what brings us peace. With that awareness we can prioritize our peace with wisdom and awareness and be ready for breakthroughs.
Protecting our Peace.
We’ve prioritized our peace, now it’s time to protect it. After setting the intention to protect it, following through with it can look like something different to each one of us.
For some of us it means to step away from social media or other stressors. For others it will be stepping away from or removing ourselves from a situation that doesn’t support our peace. For some of us learning to manage our emotions can provide the most peace.
Protecting our peace also means creating moments in our life that encourage and align with what brings us peace. Sometimes we need to make changes in our lives to support and protect our peace. Waiting for breakthroughs is easier while we are at peace.
Leaning into our Spiritual Practices.
For many of us our peace comes with practice, our spiritual practices. Meditation, prayer, being in nature, self-care rituals, whatever spiritual practice aligns with us can support us as we wait for our breakthroughs.
Often waiting means we have changed, evolved, and are ready for something new. We can create new practices, new prayers, new self-care rituals that support our new energy. Re-writing our prayers and intentions can have a powerful effect on our life.
Waiting for breakthroughs can inspire all sorts of emotions. Our spiritual practices can encourage a higher vibration that aligns with the changes and breakthroughs we are ready for.
Releasing What isn’t Working.
Just as much as encouraging our higher vibration, we need to release the lower vibrations. Whether we are releasing anxiety and pressure or releasing old energies of our past, letting go is an important part of receiving what is new.
By releasing what no longer resonates, what no longer supports our peace, we are growing into our new vibration and breakthroughs. We are saying release the old and invite the new. These are powerful energies to help us move forward on our paths and towards breakthroughs.
Going with the Flow.
A big part of moving forward is going with the flow. By setting the intention to go with the flow we are ensuring that we aren’t pushing or forcing our growth. We are allowing it to happen for us. We are moving with the energies instead of against them.
As humans it is easy to push forward. It’s what we are taught and what our culture models for us. But going with the flow is the path of least resistance. It flows. It may flow more slowly than what we are used to, but it does flow at the pace we need it to and in alignment with us and our breakthroughs.
Waiting and Thriving.
Waiting can be the hardest part or we can thrive. We can use the time to prioritize and protect our peace. Using our state of being, our peace, to align with the energies of evolution and breakthrough. We can thrive while we are at peace.
Our spiritual practices, no matter what they are, can support us while we wait. We can lean into every spiritual and self-care practice to fill our time and fulfill our needs. This ensures that we are ready to evolve and move through our breakthroughs with ease.
By releasing what isn’t working we are creating the energetic capacity to welcome our breakthroughs. This ensures we are ready to welcome the new energies, people, places, things, and experiences that are coming our way.
By going with the flow the waiting becomes the path of least resistance. It may not be the way the world tells us it should be, but it ensures that we are aligned with our life and our breakthroughs.
Waiting for our breakthroughs doesn’t have to be the hardest part. By focusing on our peace and our spiritual practices, by releasing what no longer serves us, and by going with the flow, we can thrive while we wait.
