No one wants to reach the proverbial rock bottom. But sometimes it’s what we need. Sometimes we need to feel the pain and be at our lowest before we can see the truth of our situation. That’s why it is so important to trust the process even when it’s hard.
The highs, the peak experiences, and all the in betweens have their purpose. We need to feel good. We need to shine brightly. And at times that is what is needed to move us forward.
On our spiritual awakening journeys it’s about experiencing it all. Every part of it. The highs, the lows and the in betweens. The healing and growth. It all serves a purpose.
We can recognize our awakening process as our Divine unfoldment. A process of discovery that allows us to release what has been conditioned. Which then allows us to become who we were meant to be - the highest expression of our soul.
Which is why trusting the process becomes one of the most important things during our spiritual awakening. It is our trust in the process that keeps us on the path. Honoring the highs and lows, healing and growth and allowing the full experience to move us forward.
Trusting our process means that we allow ourselves to have the experience we need to have without judgment and with forgiveness. We allow whatever is happening and trust that it serves a purpose. Trust that it is bringing us where we need to be spiritually, emotionally, materially. Even when it happens to be what we perceive as rock bottom.
My Rock Bottom.
This past week I reached a perceived rock bottom. I was at a low point. Lower than I had been in a long time. It sucked. After isolating for weeks I cried for days. Once I had expressed it all I felt a sacred rage that lit a fire of inspiration. A fire that inspired clarity.
To be honest I can’t say that I was trusting the process when I was crying in despair. In truth, I wanted to end my spiritual awakening and give up. But I allowed that emotion and energy to move through me. And in that, I was trusting the process. Implicitly, but still trusting.
After I had moved through the low point, I let it go. I released what was ready to be released and I moved on. Again, trusting the process by allowing the experience. Instead of ruminating, I simply stopped thinking about it and distracted my ego thoughts with something else. And I allowed my energy to relax and soften.
That’s when clarity emerged. The fire that was lit shined a light and I saw a path forward. Again, I was trusting the process by allowing the experience. I didn’t judge myself or the situation. I just moved forward when the next right step, in this case inspiration, appeared.
A short time later, I received synchronicities telling me something unexpected. I had fulfilled a purpose. A purpose I didn’t even know existed. I had come all the way back from rock bottom and had fulfilled a purpose.
I trusted the process and allowed it to carry me through the energies that I needed to experience. Rock bottom, release, and clarity . I let it happen within me and for me. When it was complete a purpose was fulfilled.
Trusting the process can be a challenge. It is also the path.
Trusting the Process.
Sometimes trusting the process looks like taking the next step forward. We don’t have to announce we are taking the next step; we just do it. It implies trust. Simply taking the next step means we are trusting the process, even when it includes tears and swears.
Sometimes trusting the process is an explicit choice. We move through challenging cycles with the intention to trust the process. We may even repeat it to ourselves, affirming it over and over. “I trust the process. I trust the process. I trust the process.” Willing ourselves to trust as we move forward.
Our rock bottoms, our low points, that acute suffering, anger, or frustration is part of the sacred process. Those lower vibrational energies have a way of initiating breakthroughs and new awareness. They bring moments of realization that we are done with the old and ready to move on.
With the new awareness our frequency elevates. Clarity brings a new perspective and fresh energies. With clarity we begin seeing the situation in a new light. Our vibration lifts and with it comes blessings that move us forward.
This is the process that we are asked to trust. Both the highs and the lows. It all has value. All are a sacred part of our awakening. It is the point of the process.
By trusting the process either implicitly or explicitly we are honoring our unique spiritual path. We are allowing the experience we are meant to have. We are honoring the path our soul came here to experience. Honoring our purpose. Honoring our Divine life path.
The details of our individual spiritual awakenings will be unique. Each a process of healing and growth. A process of self-discovery and purpose. A process of love. A divine unfoldment.
