Surrendering to a Spiritual Life

My hands on my chest in gratitude.

For all the spiritual experiences I’ve shared on this blog, there is one thing that I’ve kept from everyone, including myself. It was always within me, but in the background. Now I feel comfortable bringing it into the light.

I am surrendering fully to my spiritual life, to having a spiritual life.

A Spiritual Life.

I am not a monk, minister, or a priest, nor do I intend to be. But I do seek a spiritual life. One that is not based on traditions, or religion. I seek a spiritual life that celebrates my own experiences on my spiritual path.

My spiritual life is centered around my own practices and experiences with my spirit team and the relationships I have with them. The relationships created and deepened throughout my spiritual awakening.

It is a life that, for the most part, I live now. I start my day with meditation, prayers, and affirmations. Throughout the day, my inner dialogue consists of conversations with my intuition and spirit team. I end my days the same way, with conversations and an inner dialogue with intuition and spirit.

My spiritual life comes first. My faith is what sustains me and leads me forward. It is how I make decisions. It is how I move through life’s challenges such as being without a permanent home that I am experiencing now. It is how I live and how I love. My spiritual life is what nourishes me - body, mind, heart, and soul.

I choose to surrender to my spiritual life. It is something I’ve done for years. But today it feels different. I am making a conscious choice, an aligned choice, from my body, mind, heart, and soul. And that just hits differently.

What it Means to Me.

Connection. The connection I have developed with my spirit team is where it all started. From the first experience to my current experience, it has enriched my life immeasurably. It is that connection that keeps me going through all the ups and downs of my spiritual awakening and spiritual life. They love, support, protect, and guide me every day and in every way.

Practices. My spiritual practices are an important part of my life. My spiritual practices, such as meditation, prayers, affirmations, are factored into my life just as much as my writing, cooking, cleaning, and my other daily activities. Spirituality is my life.

Guidance. My entire life is guided by my intuition and my spirit team. I live by my intuitive and Divine guidance. Each step I take is a step that is guided, and aligned with my life path, purpose, and destiny. With each decision that I’m presented with, I ask my intuition and my spirit team. And then I follow through on the guidance I receive. It is how I’ve lived for years and am choosing to continue living.

Surrender. During my spiritual awakening process, I surrendered to the process. I surrendered to my intuitive and Divine guidance. I allowed my life to unfold before me. I followed my guidance. And I trusted that what was happening for me was happening for a reason, even when I had no understanding of the purpose. That’s what I’m doing now, surrendering to my Divine life path, soul purpose fulfillment, and fulfillment of my destiny.

Every aspect of my life moves forward on a current of spirituality. Every major decision, and many of the mundane day-to-day choices, are aligned and guided by my intuition and spirit team.

Years of doing the inner work allows me to know myself and know my soul. My intention to commit to a spiritual life comes from a place of wholeness. I know what I need and want in my life. A connection with the Divine and my soul is a choice and a necessity.

My commitment to my spiritual life includes what I put out into the world. It must be based on Divine love and light. My personal life must align with spiritual principles. My work must be of service. How I earn money must be of service.

I want to continue to write about fulfilling our soul’s purposes and the extraordinary spiritual experiences we have during our spiritual awakenings. This blog, my social media posts, the work I do, and how I move forward in life must be spiritual in nature. It is what feeds my soul and how I thrive.

I am surrendering to a spiritual life. My spirit team guides me towards love, wisdom, and abundance. My spirit team guides me forward on my path towards fulfilling my purposes and destiny.

I am grateful to surrender to my path, my process, and destiny.

Grateful.
