Spiritual Awakening is Learning to Ride the Waves

Riding the Waves.

I woke up this morning with the sounds of Angels and Source in my awareness. It was a beautiful way to begin my day after some painful cycles of release and growth. Recently my spiritual awakening dragged me through the mud and back up into Divine love.

There were moments when I didn’t think I could recover from the pain. I wanted to give up. But my spirit team and soul were always with me. They carried me through the worst of it. And when it was time to recover, my soul, my intuitive guidance, led the way.

Anyone who has experienced spiritual awakening will know about painful cycles of healing and growth. We journey through the shadows and underworld of our painful histories. We examine the patterns of our behavior. And then we heal and move forward in a new way.

Sometimes the journey takes us to specific situations. Painful situations or people that need to be moved through and experienced. We revisit our pain and find a new more evolved and emotionally mature way to experience them.

Then we forgive. We forgive the situations and the people that orchestrated them. We forgive them all. They knew no better. We forgive ourselves for our part in our own pain and suffering. We forgive ourselves because we knew no better.

We begin to see the situations and people from a higher perspective. One with more ease, more love and light. We begin to see ourselves and others from a perspective of Divine love and light.

Instead of blame, shame, or suffering, we choose to see each situation and each person as a Divine being. We see each challenging situation as a building block to the person we’ve become. We see each person as a walking embodiment of the Divine.

We see life from a higher perspective, a Divine perspective. We know that life’s challenges will arise. And we also know that we are Divine love and light. We are never alone, and we will have what we need to fulfill our purposes and destiny.

With time we learn to ride these waves of challenge and Divine love. In the beginning they aren’t as easy to see. Early in our spiritual awakenings we may not have the awareness yet to know how to ride the waves. But as our awakening moves forward we grow into our purpose and our Divine love and light.

I know that I won’t wake up every day with the Divine ringing out and within my awareness. I also know that whatever material world challenges I encounter, I have the love I need to ride the waves and cycles of change.

We Choose.

In my years of spiritual awakening, I have found my way out of many painful cycles of growth. Each time I moved through the shadow, I seemed to get lost and mired in the dark. But each time I also found my way out and back into the light.

I realized this past week, that each time I chose to be in the light again. I chose my spiritual path. I chose healing over pain. I chose love over extraneous thoughts. I chose my Divine path over and over again.

What pulls us out of the depths of painful healing, is our choices. It is what we choose over the pain and suffering. It is choosing to live and choosing the light. Choosing to get up and live life again, rather than succumbing to our past.

We can choose again every day. Whether our past pain or current life situation, we can choose to overcome. We can choose to try again. We can choose love and light over whatever darkness our ego minds can create. We can choose to begin again.

We can choose to walk away from past pain. We can choose to overcome our current challenges. We can choose to begin again for ourselves, our purpose, for our destiny.

We can choose for whatever reason comes to us. It is our choices that move us forward. We choose our path. We, in some ways, choose our spiritual awakening process.

Choose Light.

Our spiritual awakenings are called a process for a reason. They are a process of healing and becoming a new version of ourselves. A new version that has shed some of the past and is lighter than previous one.

We become more resilient with each cycle of healing and growth. We align more closely with our purpose. And we live more fully in love and light as we move forward.

Sometimes our spiritual awakenings are challenging and seem more than we can bear. But that is our shadow or ego mind talking. The cycles we move through build upon each other. And we are never given more than we can handle.

Through it all we have our spirit team and our soul on our side. When our relationship with them is developed, we get all the love, support, protection, and guidance we need to move through cycles of healing and growth.

We have everything we need. Within and around us. Either in the form of the Divine or within our own soul. It is all there. We only need to remember to choose it over and over again.

Choose ourselves. Choose to move forward. Choose the Divine path. Choose purpose. Choose destiny. Choose love. Choose light.
