When life seems out of control, we can still focus on ourselves, on our souls, and our purpose. Connecting with our soul, our intuition, and our inner peace can be the difference between succumbing to lower vibrations and thriving.
Soul care is like coming home to ourselves. A space where we can find solace when the world around us feels harsh and cold. A space where we can find love, support, protection, and guidance. Always.
Our soul has been with us through everything and has loved us through it all. They are our connection with Spirit. They are the Divine within us. Our soul deserves all the care we can provide, and so do we.
Connecting With Soul.
Our deepest relationships require connection, and that includes the one with our soul. Like any relationship our soul thrives with attention and care. A check-in, a conversation, an intention to connect with our soul is all that is needed to begin.
When we are at our most pressed is when we most need soul care. We can find solace in our connection with our soul. In meditation, in traffic, in the office, it doesn’t matter where or when, just that we do.
Sometimes we need to set aside time to focus on what our soul needs. Those needs will look different to each of us, but our soul’s need is universal. It is a reminder that our path to soul’s purpose begins within us.
Trusting Intuitive Guidance.
Often when we connect with our soul, we receive guidance. While connecting with our soul, we ask and discuss what we need in our lives. We then receive messages that answer our questions and arrive just in time.
Trusting the guidance, trusting the messages, is soul care. It is the most important part of our soul connection. Allowing our soul to guide us forward provides everything we need, want, and desire on a soul level.
If we aren’t yet connected with our intuitive guidance, we can ask our soul. It is a co-created form of communication.
Set the intention to connect. Begin asking questions. Ask what an intuitive “yes” feels/sounds/looks like. Ask what an intuitive “no” feels/sounds/looks like.
Use tools or intuitive gifts to communicate. Use tarot to begin understanding the language of soul. It will answer back in any way you choose to connect. It is a co-created experience.
Our souls will guide us to the soul connection that works best for us. Let our souls guide us to the connection we seek. Trusting the connection and trusting the guidance, like with any relationship, is soul care.
Doing What Feels Like Inner Peace.
Soul care is doing what feels like, and connects us with, inner peace. It’s what brings us back to ourselves and our soul. It can be anything that helps us feel calm and at peace. And that will be something different for each of us.
Meditation, spending time in nature, quiet time alone, cooking, gardening, listening to music, creative projects, spending time with loved ones - the list is as long as there are souls.
You may already know what your favorite activity is or how to come back to yourself. Do that with the intention of it being soul care. Soak it in and allow it to be peaceful.
If you’re not sure what your soul needs or how to care for it, make time for exploring. Try things that you’ve always thought of doing but haven’t yet. Or just start trying things until you find what softens you and brings you peace.
Sometimes it isn’t the soul that tells us. How our body feels can also be the path to inner peace. It’s that thing we do, or way of being, that allows us to relax and exhale. It’s those people who bring us back to ourselves.
Each of us will have our own path to inner peace. Finding that path is soul care. Returning to inner peace whenever we need to or choose to, is soul care.
Doing Inner Work.
If inner peace feels unattainable, your soul may be calling you to do some inner work. Sitting with ourselves and allowing whatever needs to come to the surface is soul care.
Sometimes we have emotions that need to be acknowledged and/or expressed. It’s important to manage our emotions and give them the space they need to move through our awareness and body.
Clearing our path emotionally so our soul can come forward is soul care. We are meant to heal and growth on our path. Focusing on inner work and clearing out the old allows our soul to move closer to purpose fulfillment.
Whether we need to express or release, honoring our emotional process is soul care. Doing our inner work is the path to peace and purpose.
Aligning With Purpose.
The benefit of our connection with our soul, trusting our guidance, connecting with our inner peace, and doing inner work is aligning with our soul’s purpose. It happens naturally. It is part of the path and process.
Our soul’s purpose is what it came here for. It is the path it chose and how it thrives. What better expert is there on our purpose than our soul?
Connecting, trusting guidance, finding inner peace, doing our inner work, naturally aligns us with our soul’s purpose. Instead of searching we can follow our soul’s path and align with our purpose.
The more closely we are connected with our soul, the more aligned we are to our purpose. Soul care is how we walk that path towards purpose.
Soul Care.
These days soul care isn’t optional. It is a necessity. When the only thing we control is ourselves, soul care is a path towards our inner peace and purpose.
We can take a break from our material lives and seek solace within. Inner peace isn’t out there. It is within. And it begins with soul care.
