The fall equinox is tomorrow. The energies are shifting from summer into autumn. The days are getting shorter, and the air is cooling. Camping gear is being packed away and fall decorations are coming out of storage. It all seems to work so seamlessly, the seasons just flow.
But we humans don’t always flow so well. Sometimes we get caught up in a mood. Our energy gets stuck on a low vibe of anger, sadness, or just plain stuck. That’s when it’s time to shift energies so we can flow.
We can put on music, dance around the house, go for a walk, take a break from work, get a workout in, meditate, hang out with friends, or whatever else helps us shift our energies. Moving our bodies, changing our space, or changing our activity are all effective ways to move the energy we have stored, or stuck, in our bodies.
What’s your favorite way to shift your energies?
Whatever it is, keep it in mind the next time your vibration is low and you’re ready to move out of it and into new energy.
Cancer Journey Update.
Last week, I wasn’t feeling well and spent a lot of time indoors resting. I’m not sure what was going on, my chest was a little congested, but I wasn’t running a fever. I just felt yucky. Maybe my lungs were healing from radiation? I have no idea.
As soon as my body felt better, I needed to get moving. This morning I prioritized my needs over this blog post, and I got out of the house. I went downtown for a meditation and walk near the river. There is something about flowing water that always helps me shift my energy. I feel like a whole new person.
Tomorrow I have physical therapy and I’m really looking forward to getting my shoulders stretched out. My pectorals are still very tight, and sometimes it feels as if I’m wearing the most constricting sports bra ever designed. Once I even caught myself trying to adjust the bra that I wasn’t wearing.
All that said, I’m healing well, slowly but well. My skin continues to heal from radiation treatment and I notice that there are some permanent changes. None of it matters, I’m just happy to have survived breast cancer.

The Pics!
The pictures used on this page, see more below, were taken by me this morning. It was cool, breezy, and sunny. It was exactly what I needed to shift my energies out of my feeling-yucky-funk to feeling fantastic!
Thank you for being here, dear reader.
Be well,
