Music Sent from Spirit

The header of the music playlist

I’ve always had an ear for lyrics. No matter the song and no matter what era, I can usually sing along. I may not get every word correct, but I can get most of them. There are so many lyrics in my head, its not surprising that my spirit guides communicate with me through music.

When Spirit sends me a song, it’s almost always about the lyrics, but sometimes it’s about shifting energy. They will loop a segment of a song over and over, sometimes for days. And it will always be a message that I need to hear.

I receive them via clairaudience, perceiving them as if hearing them. They are special messages in Divine timing, and I love them all. Whether I’m walking in the park or grocery shopping, this is the playlist that is usually in my earbuds.

This beautiful, eclectic mix of songs are one of the many ways Spirit speaks to me. I hope you listen to some of these songs and receive what resonates for you.

1.      Killer Queen by Queen – Spirit was reminding me that I am a queen!

2.      Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A man after midnight), Abba.

3.      Tomorrow is My Turn, Nina Simone. “No more doubts, no more fears. Tomorrow is my turn when my luck is returning. All these years, I’ve been learning to save fingers from burning. Tomorrow is my turn.” I mean, wow, Ms. Nina Simone. It was exactly what I needed to hear at the time.

4.      Feeling Good, Nina Simone. A celebration of life. 10/10 would recommend a listen.

5.      Fight Song, Rachel Platten. A fight song for when I needed one.

6.      I Don’t Feel Like Dancin’, Scissor Sisters. Spirit sent me this one because it always makes me dance.

7.      Take Your Mama, Scissor Sisters. I received this song when I was connecting with Mom Spirit.

8.      Filthy/Gorgeous, Scissor Sisters. BEST ORIGIN STORY. One evening during a fight with my husband, Spirit blasted this loud and clear for me. “Cause you’re filthy. Oh, and I’m gorgeous.” I almost busted out laughing when it came through.

9.      The Sweetest Taboo, Sade.

10.   Strip Me, Natasha Bedingfield. “I could spend a lifetime earning things I don’t need, but that’s like chasing rainbows and coming home empty.” I was learning to leave behind an outdated perspective on my career. There are so many lyrics in this song that resonate with my spiritual path. It is worth a listen.

11.   You’re Beautiful, James Blunt. Spirit will repeat, “you’re beautiful”. It really is so sweet.

12.   Human Nature, Madonna. “And I’m not sorry. It’s human nature. And I’m not sorry. I’m not your bitch don’t hang your shit on me.” Taking my power back and enjoying it.

13.   Don’t Stop, Madonna. “Don’t stop doin’ what you’re doin’ baby. Don’t stop, keep movin’, keep groovin’. This one is self-explanatory.

14.   Don’t Stop Me Now, Queen. This is such a power song!

15.   Somebody to Love, Queen. Oof! This whole song!

16.   Seasons Change, Expose. This came through in the autumn of 2022, a reminder that all things change.

17.   No Ordinary Love, Sade. This song speaks of love; love for another, love for ourselves, and love for Spirit.

18.   Never Gonna Give You Up, Rick Astley. Yes, Spirit Rick-Rolled me. I laughed out loud, but then I listened to the lyrics. I loved this song when I was younger, and I get to love it again. Remember, it’s almost always about the lyrics when Spirit blesses me with a song.

19.   Ain’t no Stopping us Now, McFadden & Whitehead. Dancing and getting our power back!

20.   Love Me When I don’t, Pentatonix. I love this a cappella group. This song is about connection and, for me, Spirit.

23.   Smile, Vitamin C. I think Spirit was injecting a little fun into my path and reminding me vibe a little higher.

24.   Jesus to a Child, George Michael. This whole song, every word, is beautiful. Listen to it; it’s like a love letter.

25.   A Different Corner, George Michael. Another love letter from Spirit and George.

26.   Better Days, Eddie Vedder. This one was the soundtrack to my spiritual awakening for a while. I would listen to it on a loop and sing loud to open my throat chakra. And it’s got great drums!

27.   Free Your Mind, En Vogue. “Free your mind and the rest will follow.” Empowerment!

28.   I Want to Break Free, Queen. The concept of freedom and what that meant to me has been a theme throughout my spiritual awakening.

29.   100% Pure Love, Crystal Waters. When I received this one, I was standing on the sidewalk waiting for my hairstylist. I smiled and started moving with the beat. An older gentleman walked by and gave me a tip of the hat and a smile. It was a vibe.

30.   Make a Move on Me, Olivia Newton John. I received this the day before she died, and it shook me a little. The message was to embrace my sensuality.

31.   More, More, More, Andrea True Connection. Spirit and I were doing some good work when I received this one.

33.   Golden, Jill Scott. I love this song. Spirit brings it up when I’m vibing high and when the sun is on my face.

34.   Time for Me to Fly, REO Speedwagon.

35.   One and Only, Adele. “God only knows why it’s taken me so long to let my doubts go.”

36.   Surrender, Cheap Trick. This one surprised me. “Surrender, surrender, but don’t give yourself away.” A reminder to surrender to Spirit.

37.   Shake it Up, The Cars. This one was a reminder to dance and shift my energy. I hadn’t listened to The Cars in decades, so it was fun to reconnect with their music.

38.   Just Another Dream, Cathy Dennis. Another one to dance to. I think Spirit wants me to lighten up and dance a little. Funky love and good vibes are needed sometimes!

39.   Let it Go (From Frozen soundtrack), Idina Menzel. This one is entirely self-explanatory.

40.   Channel Z, B-52’s. This one is recent. Is Spirit preparing me for something? They lyrics that repeat are, “I don’t know, I feel like something’s happening. Something good is happening.”

41.   Best Thing That Ever Happened to Me, Gladys Knight and the Pips. Spirit is sending me so much love and maybe a farewell to my awakening process.

42.   My Heart with You, Pentatonix. A cappella poetry. I cried and released sadness for three days after Spirit sent this to me. Oof, this one hits me in the feels.

43.   Still the One, Orleans. Another surprise song that I had to google by the lyrics because I had no idea who recorded it. “You’re still the one.”

44.   All You Need is Love, The Beatles. It sounds trite, but it’s true. Sometimes all we need is love. Apparently, we’re working on my heart chakra based on these last few songs.

My spirit team is amazing and I’m so very grateful for all their wisdom in all it’s many forms.
