Today is My 55th Birthday!

I’m not attached to the age or even aging. I feel only gratitude to have another birthday and I like who I’ve become. It’s taken me a lot of hard work, but I am creating the life I want to live now.

It’s not special or unique to create the life that we want, we all create our lives. But for me, just a few years ago, that seemed impossible. At the time, I didn’t like my career, my job, or my primary relationship. Nothing in my life was working for me.

I had worked hard to create that life too, but then suddenly it didn’t fit. I worked hard to create a career path for myself. I strategized and chose each step carefully. It was what I wanted at the time and then one day, it wasn’t what I wanted at all.

A few years ago, I realized that I needed to create a new life for myself. It’s been the single biggest project of my entire fifty-five years. I wanted to figure out what was next for me. I set out to find out what I liked to do and who I wanted to be. I started to create my new life step by step.

The number 55 (5 + 5 = 10) can mean major life changes and I’m ready. The past year has been about my health and healing from cancer. This year is going to bring so much more. I can feel it already and it’s confirmed by my intuition. I can feel the energy building, and at this point I’m ready for anything.

Wisdom from my 55 Years.

The fifty-five years of wisdom in my body, mind, and soul, are earned and appreciated. I learned to put my needs first. I learned to heal my wounds and love myself in a way I didn’t think was possible. I learned to open to life and share the lessons that I’ve learned like these little bits of wisdom.

Wear sunscreen.

What people think of us is none of our business.

It’s never too late to change.

Always follow your intuition, it is never wrong.

When our head and our heart agree, we become unstoppable.

When we heal, we become unbreakable.

Our inner critics lie and should be dealt with accordingly.

Do what you love even if it’s only after doing the job that pays the bills.

Release attachment to outcomes.

Allow Spirit to surprise you.

Take up space.

Speak your mind and your heart.

Be intentional.

Love your body, mind, and soul.

If you live long enough, you see trends come back around.

Our greatest suffering may be our greatest lesson and blessing, but not always.

Emotions are energy in motion.

Feel it to heal it.

This too shall pass.

Endings are also beginnings.

Fill your cup first and then give from the overflow.

Beauty doesn’t fade, we carry it inside of us.

Happiness is an emotion that comes and goes which makes it a poor goal.

Be present in every moment.

Be with people, places, and things that match your vibration.

You are worthy of everything you want and so much more.

Today’s pic is a selfie I took this morning. This is what fifty-five looks like and I’m here for it.

Be well,

Nikki
